Application Process
How to enrol at Raymond?
Raymond International College will accept applications from all students who meet the entry requirements published in the course information. Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis but if a course is full, you will be offered a place in a course starting at a later date.
Step 1
Student Enquiry
To apply to enrol in a course, please contact us to express your interest. You will be sent a Course Outline as well as Enrolment Form to complete. You will need to provide evidence that you meet the Entry Requirements of the course (as indicated on the Course Outline) such as verified copies of qualifications, identification including your passport, schooling and valid evidence of English Language level such as IELTS or TOEFL.
Step 2
Enrolment Application
If you are applying for Credit, you should indicate this on your enrolment and supply certified copies of your transcripts so we can assess your application for Credit. See the section on Credits in this Handbook below. Once you have completed your enrolment form and gathered all the necessary evidence, send it to info@raymondcollege.edu.au. You will be contacted within 10 days to discuss your suitability and arrange an Initial Skills Assessment if you meet the entry requirements.
Step 3
Initial Skills Assessment
In the initial skills assessment college will assess if the selected course is suitable to your existing skills and knowledge. This is done to ensure that your selected course is suitable for you future career pathway and is in line with your existing skills.
Step 4
Student Offer
If your application is approved you will be provided with a Written Agreement that outlines the Terms and Conditions of your enrolment with Raymond International College. You must keep a copy of this for your own records.
Step 5
Confirmation of Enrolment
You will then be required to pay your deposit and provide any additional evidence before finally receiving your electronic Confirmation of Enrolment letter (eCoE) as well as further information about your first training session and anything you need to bring or prepare prior.
Eligibility criteria.
Admission Criteria
• Students must be over 18 years of age.
• Students must have completed Australian Year 12 or an overseas equivalent or an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) or higher qualification prior to commencing this course.
English language requirements for international students: (Any one of the following)
Academic IELTS (International English Language Testing System) overall band score: 5.5
TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based test) test score band: 46
PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English) test score band: 42
Admission Criteria for Graduate Diploma in Management (Learning)
• Diploma/Advanced Diploma qualification in any field of study (onshore or offshore) or equivalent; or
• Bachelor Degree in any field of study (onshore or offshore) or equivalent; or
• Evidence of relevant work experience (no less than 3 years in a senior management or leadership position).
English Proficiency (Any one)
IELTS Test Score of 6.0
TOEFL iBT Test Score of 74-75
PTE Academic Test Score of 50
Cambridge English: FCE
Pre-enrolment assessment
A pre-enrolment assessment will be conducted to determine your current competency, LLN Skills, and/or vocational experience, as well as your expectations from this course, and to identify any support you may need.
